Free Film Prop ID Card Creator Launched

The tool allows the user to quickly create a customised ID card for use in film and TV projects. The goal of the ID card creator is to create a card quickly and easily without the film maker having to design a card themselves. The creator allows the actors photo to added as well as the modification of text items.

There are currently six templates to choose from but the selection will be improved in the coming weeks.

Once generated the card can be downloaded and printed onto card or paper. Depending on the scene to be filmed the card can be laminated or inserted into a wallet or clip-on badge.

The tool has been specifically designed to produce identity cards that look good on camera but are clearly props on closer inspection. This means the film maker can film their scenes without having to spend unnecessary money on products from unscrupulous "Fake ID" or "Novelty ID Card" suppliers.
