Free Live Cake Decorating Demonstration by Jay Qualls, star of TLC’s The Next Great Baker, at Cakes We Bake

New YORK ,New Jersey, Connecticut -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Nov 10, 2011 -- On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Jay Qualls, award-winning cake decorator and star of The Learning Channel’s “The Next Great Baker” will hold a live cake decorating demonstration from 8:30 pm to 10:30 EST at CakesWeBake.com. This is Qualls’ second such appearance on the website this year.

Jay will be showing viewers how to create fondant garret frills and French ruffles on a cake he will decorate with his innovative new product, Fondant Fabric. Fondant Fabric is a pre-rolled sheet of fondant that comes in many different colors. It is vacuum sealed to retain its shape and make application to cakes a snap.

Jay Qualls founded Maples Wedding Cakes, LLC in 2005 and has become known as one of the premier celebrity cake designers/artists in the country. He teaches classes and demonstrates his methods of cake design all over the US as well as Canada to shop owners and cake enthusiast and hobbyist. He has designed wedding cakes and special occasion cakes for country music celebrity artists like Martina McBride, Jo Dee Massina, Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

He was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings past winter 15th Anniversary issue. Less than 10 designers have been invited to collaborate with Martha Stewart Weddings in the history of the magazine.
