Free Live Music Concerts at Broomfield Park

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 29, 2011 -- Thanks to the efforts of our supporters, the Sunday Session live music concerts at Broomfield Park will be going ahead this year. The funding for these popular annual events was under threat last year but the outcry from local supporters and press has earned a reprieve!

2-5pm Bear Cat Crawlers - New Orleans Trad Jazz Band

14th August 2011 :
1-2pm Acoustic Open Mic
2-5pm Acoustic soul/pop with The Lester Clayton Band + Support

21st August 2011 :
1-2pm Acoustic Open Mic
2-5pm Classic rock with original band Temper Diablo supported by original rock n roll band Dixie plus blues/rock duo Alan & Paul.

22nd August 2010
1-2pm Acoustic Open Mic

2-5pm Blues with RoXi & the Blue Cats supported by folk singer songwriter Jim Dawson & Lou.

Join us by the bandstand for a great FREE afternoon of music from 1pm to 5pm!
Bring friends, family, picnic, something to sit on and a brolly just in case the grass is damp and the rain decides to fall!!

Solo and duo singers and musicians are invited to bring an ACOUSTIC instrument or backing track on CD or MP3 player if they would like to get up and perform in the Open Mic. Be there by 12.30pm to put your name down to perform. Note that we will NOT reserve slots in advance.
