Free Mortgage Webinar Reviews Major Changes of 2010, including MDIA, Dodd-Frank

On January 1, the year began with the required use of the new GFE, which led to considerable confusion about the correct way to fill out the form and when to re-disclose. The following months brought the introduction of Fannie Mae’s Loan Quality Initiative (LQI), new Fannie Mae appraisal requirements, multiple FHA changes (MIP, minimum credit score, etc.), the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the list continues.

The rapid increase in the number of changes has made it more difficult for lenders and brokers to keep up. To help lenders and brokers manage these implementations, Mortgage Compliance Advisors is pleased to offer a free webinar reviewing the major changes of the year . The webinar is open to all and is scheduled for Thursday, October 21 at 12:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time. Since the previous webinar dealt exclusively with GFE changes and questions, this month the webinar will review other major changes of the year, including a panel discussion of the updates and an open Q&A session. The topics to be discussed include:
