Great music stars with critically acclaimed CD's and Albums are starting to loose interest in recording music, when the cost can be $200,000 for an Album.Top record studio's don't want to risk recording great artist as they once did in the past and the reason is simple, they know the music will be stolen and pirated online for free and they'll loose a fortune if they continue to record music artist.
As you can see by updated music press releases artist are loosing their homes and going bankrupt, some now work in car washes or serving food at restaurants.
It's sad to think we treat our music hero's this way.

I researched this listing online for 2 weeks, I researched a ton of online music genres - here's the list I went through separated by comma's if I left anyout please post a message - Classic Rock,Alternative music,Blues,Rock,Country,Folk,Folk Rock,Jazz,Gospel,Hip Hop,New Age,Reggae,Ragtime,Soul Music,Religious Music,R&B,Oldies,Pop,Movie,Soundtrack Music, Electronic,Christian.

In my opinion music artist,song writers,recording studios and the music Industry will suffer because of online leaches sucking the life blood out of our music Industry.
And - Someday the music Industry may become extinct because of loosing so much money due to Internet music hijackers who offer our music for free through online streaming downloads.These people are nothing more than INTERNET HIPPIES - out to break the music establishment for their own personal music and financial gain !!

Something must be done, I myself as a musician have spent 18 years playing music and going to school for what? To have all my hard work thrown away by Internet free-be's being giving away.
This is my job I am only 25 years old and have been playing music since I was 7 years old.
I recorded my first CD and tried to sell it online. Over 1.2 million people streamed it for free because we monitored those sites, which are set up in India so no one can press charges.
So far from my CD release, I have made only $825.00 off a CD that cost $85,000 to produce plus years of high school and college training in music and the Music Industry.

I have bills to pay, I need car repairs, I drive taxi now, so If this was your job I ask you, would you want the whole world taking advantage and running all over you?
I know most of you think you need to look out for # 1 - yourself and get all you can for free, no wonder we have welfare problems in this country !!
I now have no future in music, I should have made over 1 Millon profit off the sale of that Album only to have music pirates sell it for free to millions.

Also as musicians we also loose a lot of and thousands of hours of hard work,when online music download companies give away 25 free downloads a month to members. Sure people members pay $15.00 Bucks a month, and they stream our music, but we get only $.001 and that's it !! that's it 1 penny, these companies rip us off !! It cost them only 25 pennies a month to stream you our songs out of your membership cost. Well I bet you thought as music memebers we made more. No not unless you buy a CD or Album, we make near zero !!

I think it's the responsibility of online music companies to pay music artist,studios,song writers and ect at least 10% on all streamed songs online.
Yes people these companies can more than afford to do that.
As musicians with copyrights we are banning together to file charges against companies as soon as new laws to protect our music goes into effect in 2010.

These Internet companies should pay out $2.50 to the artist for 25 free down loads and not cheap $.25 cents to 25 artist as it is set now. How CHEAP can these music download companies be? They don't mail you CD's, you just download our music for free, heck it's not even their music they just took it from us and get rich giving us 1 penny a song !!
Now do you think I have any respect for a music business company like that?
If online music companies were respectable they'd treat the artist who make them rich, so much better, remember we make you rich !!

I don't think the public is aware that the music hero's of the world will one day soon no longer be around due to free Internet Downloads. We had a great country once where our music stars where heroes - like Elvis, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B KIng, The Righteous Brothers, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, John Denver.....as you notice these people lived in the past,when hero's where hero's, today there are no more hero's the Internet has destroyed Music...As the song - American Pie -says.........It's The Day The Music Died !!

To me people who download online free music are leaches sucking the life out of the music Industry !!
It really doesn't matter if you're the company or the guy or gal downloading for free , your both guilty of destroying America's greatest past time !!
But mark my words - one day - It's going to become very quite across this great land - NO MORE MUSIC - because it's - The Day The Music Died !!

It's so hard now to sell music,that to protect myself as a music artist and my music,that I have now spent the past 18 months pulling all my music and press releases off the Internet.I am starting over and will never allow my music to be sold online. This I think will become a trend with all top musicians untill the Internet companies pay us what we are worth !!

Sure online , there's a few success stories like Guitar star and Indie music artist, GW Williams making $80,000.00 a month selling his music online. But stories like that are very rare and very rare and he's created a new style on guitar and with such strong interest by guitarist in his new CD to become release in Jan 2010 after new years it's no wonder why he's famous and people buy GW's music because he's rock blues and jazz guitarist want to know how he created his new style and how they can do it also!! Otherwise GW Williams music would suffer also!! But instead guitar players world wide purchase his music trying to figure out his guitar moves. He's a lucky and very smart and cunning how he's got in the money making door selling online and in stores world wide.

But the rest of us suffer greatly, we have no chance to make a living anymore in music it's not fair to steal the money we could had made with our songs online. It's not fair !!
