From Grade School to Grad School REUNION & ALUMNI Groups Party on the RENO FUN TRAIN!
Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.keyholidays.com Over the 49 years that the Reno Fun Train has been in operation they have welcomed aboard reunion groups, such as the Fresno State Alumni, Balboa High Alumni and a Hawaiian High School (Yes, they came all the way from Hawaii and most had never seen snow!) to partake in the greatest rolling party in the country. All the group leader had to do is block space, get the information out to their Alumni. and organize the sign-ups. The weekend Fun Train or midweek Snow Train does all the work in providing unique transportation to Reno, hotel accommodations, entertainment and meals on the train. With departures from Emeryville, Richmond (BART), Martinez, Suisin and Sacramento it makes it convenient for those alumni who have scattered about the Bay Area after graduating to join in on the fun. So easy!
A "Decades" theme on the March 9, 2012 departure has been announced with each train car, that seats up to 64 seats per car, featuring a different decade from the 1960's through 1980's. If a group fills an entire car they may pick their own decade from flower children of the 60's to Saturday Night Fever 1970's to Miami Vice & Madonna of the 1980's. Alumni Groups are encouraged to dress up from their era and decorate their cars with their school colors and mascot. Groups compete for decorating prizes and everyone has a blast making trips to the Piano Lounge, Dance Car and forming conga lines through the train. Passengers must be over 21 years old to ride this party train.
Groups have an added benefit of earning 1 free for every 15 paid, which may be used for the group leaders fare, fund raising purposes or decorating and extra goodies they may wish to provide for the their Alumni Group. Even though there are several bars on the train and light meals are included, groups are welcome to bring their own coolers with bar set up and party platters. Whether you have a small, close knit group of school friends, a Fraternity or Sorority or the entire class were your best buddies, this is the event that your reunion group will always remember!
The Reno Fun Train and Reno Snow Train are the only trains in the world where you can dance, sing-along, relax and let loose all while making new friends and experiencing the romance of riding the rails over the magnificent Sierra Nevada Mountains on the way to exciting downtown Reno. Last year’s additions of an Elvis Tribute Artist, available Chair Massage and Cigar Lounge (on the Fun Train) will be continued with the Richmond Amtrak Station being added as a BART connection stop in 2012. All inclusive prices start from $289 per person, double occupancy on the weekend Fun Train with departures offered on Feb. 10, 24, Mar. 2 and 9th. The midweek Snow Train starts from $245. per person, double with departures Feb. 14, 21, 28 and Mar. 6th.
