Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 6, 2012 -- Nik Bey is an accomplished author and music producer as well as a manager at a local small business and today we are announcing his hopes to represent you as the next United States Senator from Minnesota in his election bid against current liberal Senator and Comedian Al Franken.

With all of the divisiveness and bickering between the Democrat and Republican parties in Washington, Minnesota needs someone who is reasonable, who is willing to compromise and who is willing to work with other members of the Senate with the intention of best representing the citizens of Minnesota. With those goals in mind Nik Bey intends to run in the 2014 Senatorial election as an independent against incumbent liberal Senator Al Franken. As an Independent, Nik Bey will not be beholden to the far right and Tea Party factions of the Republican minority or the Liberal Democratic majority in the Senate and as an Independent he will be able to remain neutral and outside the partisan two parties bickering that dominates all current negotiations in Washington DC.

In Politics these days there are too much money and too much power being bought by the special interests through campaign donations. Nik Bey's campaign will have transparency and accountability to the voter because he will not be accepting donations of any kind from anyone. He will not have a super Pac functioning on his behalf. He will not accept special interest or advocacy group’s donations. The Nik Bey campaign will not have special interests funding his campaign in exchange for his vote once he is elected because Nik Bey is going operate a grassroots campaign that will fund his campaign entirely through book sales and the selling of Ad space on his TV show which will document the political process from start to finish. The citizens of Minnesota will see our campaign in action on camera, they will see who is buying ads on television when the documentary style episodes will air and they will be fully informed of the entire goings on of his campaign.

Once Nik is elected to office he will continue that commitment to transparency by documenting his work for the citizens of Minnesota while representing them in Washington DC. Government should represent the people as well as be accountable to the people and Nik Bey wants to bring that back to the way politics are done in Washington and for the citizens of Minnesota and he will do that through his television show.

When Nik gets to Washington he pledges to donate his entire government salary back to the citizens of Minnesota to use for improving the lives of the people he will be representing. Serving the citizens of Minnesota is an honor and a privilege and as your Representative Nik Bey will prove that through action.

As the newly elected Senator from Minnesota Nik Bey will work tirelessly to bring manufacturing jobs back to the state, make SBA loans more accessible for small businesses as well as provide a larger and more expansive economic plan for Minnesota. SBA loans are a great way to stimulate economic growth and are an important tool in assisting small businesses in creating jobs and under current liberal Senator Al Franken those loans have been few and far between and Minnesota has suffered by regulations and guidelines of the SBA loan system that have choked off these loans to our states small business community. Nik Bey will draft legislation to allow for more access to these loans because Nik Bey believes in the entrepreneurship and the strong work ethic of the citizens of Minnesota and he strongly believes that investment in Minnesota and its citizens is an investment well worth making. These are just three parts of the Nik Bey campaigns "Map for Minnesota", an overall economic plan to get Minnesota's community back to work and prospering like we deserve and what Al Franken has failed to provide.
