FRONTIER AIRLINE PROMOTES PERFUME USAGE ABOARD ITS AIRPLANES BY EMPLOYEES

Do you have any form of sensitivity to people wearing too much cologne or perfume? Well, if you do, you definitely do not want to every fly FRONTIER Airlines because their policy is to have their flight attendants and cockpit members wear as much perfume and cologne as their at the expense of passengers who may feel the ill effects of their lack of concern. Of note is that several other airlines do care about this issue and have written policy guidelines stating their people shall NOT wear any cologne or perfume when working-period! Recently, when on a return trip from San Francisco to Orlando, and husband and wife were asked to leave (boot off) a FRONTIER flight (2nd leg of their journey from DENVER to ORLANDO) because the husband had simply mentioned to the senior flight attendant in the front of the plane, that an older female attendant that was wearing far too much perfume, so much so, that it made him nauseous and a bad headache. He told the FA that he had asked the 75 year old Frontier FA to try and stay at least six feet away from him because of the heavy perfume she was wearing. The lead FA informed the captain of the plane about what the husband said, and then after about two minutes passed by the FRONTIER Team Operations Lead approached the husband and asked him to “step off the plane” so he could discuss the perfume issue with him. So the paying customer complied, and never once got upset or belligerent, but just wanted to hear what the airline was going to do about the old female flight attendant that badly stunk of perfume. However, little did he know when he disembarked that the decision by FRONTIER had already been set in concrete—TO THROW HIM OFF THE PLANE! Not for being too fat, or taking up more than one seat, nor for being rowdy, drunk or obscene, but yes, for simply asking that the “stinky smelly old” flight attendant not stand to near him for long periods while on the Denver to Orlando flight. Now, that’s they way to endear passengers who ask for an accommodation, throw them off the plane in a city distant to where they live with no place to stay, and his wife still on the plane. The Denver Frontier area operations manager informed him in excruciating detail that the reason they were not letting him reboard the plan was, “FRONTIER cannot afford to have YOU sir, get sick as you informed our attendant that you ‘might’ if during the flight if the older female attendant should walk by you. We have to have her in the event of an emergency, but we don’t have to have you onboard.
