Whether you wish to teach entirely in the Desikachar method of Viniyoga. or add it to your current repertoire, or if you would like to go deeper with your practice, this program will provide you with the necessary tools. This is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered program that will take place at Ananda Cottages in Ubud, Bali Indonesia, August 1-28, 2010.

With it's Hindu-Buddhist culture, Bali is the perfect place for yoga with Ubud at the center of a vortex of spiritual activity. The surrounding natural beauty and variety of landscapes make for a wonderful outdoor playground, home to a wealth of activities: hiking, biking, rafting, climbing, surfing, diving, and snorkeling, among many others. Hire yourself a driver to tour the island for a small price, or just relax in your spare time. Get to know the friendly and loving people, truly Bali's most valuable resource. Attend temple ceremonies and participate first-hand in the island's pervasive and colorful spirituality. Witness the abundance of artistic activity, where almost everyone is mindfully engaged in some sort of personal, creative endeavor, yet the language has no word for art.  Everyone just does it, nothing special. Stan Hafner will be the lead teacher and will provide in-depth asana instruction covering the mechanics of the postures, and their related advantages, disadvantages, counterposes, and contraindications. There will be particular attention toward vinyasa krama, the intelligent sequencing and structuring of a yoga practice for yourself and your students. You will learn how to read and understand abilities and limitations in yourself and others, along with how to effectively convey your knowledge of yoga to your students. In his daily talks, Stan will provide his special insight into the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and philosophy for day-to-day life. In addition, the program delves deeply into the concept of yogic discipline, and how to take a yogic stance in life. Above all, the course is a practical guide for experiencing the joy of life.

YogaTrex is offering a full scholarship with airfare included to a candidate with at least one year of solid yoga experience and exceptional social networking and blogging skills.
