The two had worked together for several years helping each other's clients with their airport transportation needs and decided that their was an opportunity for more. By creating a company that offered complete concierge and limousine service the company is able to service a myriad of customer requests. "With ATX, we can help out with everything from dinner reservations to wine tours, and prescription delivery to airport service," said Thompson. "It really is a full service solution to take the hassle out of everyday life."
The company has been busy adding to its fleet and expanding affiliate relationships to offer unique solutions. According to Hammond, the value is providing a complete solution in one call. "We've been working with spas, golf courses, and tour providers so that we can arrange someone's complete trip. Some of our customers have asked for a day at the spa or football game and don't want to worry about driving. Some just need a ride to the airport. Whatever the request, we can manage all details in-house."

ATX Transportation has fully embraced technology as it offers on-line reservations, maintains a company blog, and offers deals via Twitter. The company also boasts a complete paperless solution so that customer's can handle arrangements and payment over the internet.
In October of 2009, customers from AlphaRide (predominantly an airport limo service)were welcomed by ATX. "AlphaRide was a project I worked on for several years. When that company closed it was natural to bring their customer base along. I had worked with many of those customers for a long time and was glad to be able to offer them an alternative," said Hammond. "Only now, our customers have access to so much more."
