Frisco, TX- November 16, 2011- Full Throttle Athletics of Frisco, Texas is proud to announce that, BJ Bliffert, the facility’s Owner and Founder, was featured in the USA Today Newspaper and named to the World Fitness Elite’s list of Trainers of the Year. The feature appeared in the September 7, 2011 publication.

Bliffert was one of fifteen fitness professionals chosen throughout the country as a World Fitness Elite Trainer of the Year featured in USA Today . In the feature, he is the only fitness professional representing Texas.

USA Today asked the World Fitness Elite Trainers of the Year for their best tips on health, fitness and nutrition. Bliffert states in his feature:

Bliffert, a Wisconsin native, moved to Frisco, TX in May 2007 with his wife and business partner, Kori, with dreams of creating his own fitness facility. Upon arriving to Texas, the husband and wife fitness duo found a gym space and founded Full Throttle Athletics in October 2008, which has since become a thriving personal fitness facility.

Bliffert’s clientele has grown exponentially over the past 3 years. This growth can be contributed largely to word of mouth due to the fact that Full Throttle Athletics offers a unique fitness experience in which clients achieve results at a rapid pace.

The Frisco facility is the only gym in the region that offers authentic Russian kettlebell training. According to Bliffert, “kettlebells have been integrated as a core part of our training at FTA because of its incredible efficiency and the full body workout it achieves.”

In May of 2011, the Blifferts traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia for an intensive ten day training camp with world champion coaches who specialize in kettlebell competition. BJ Bliffert continues to receive mentorship and training under world class kettlebell coaches—Bliffert recently competed in the IKFF 2011 National Kettlebell Championship in Detroit, MI.
