Fundraiser for Launch of New Tutoring Program!

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 26, 2009 -- Over 50 guests attended A&K Family Learning Place’s 1st annual spaghetti dinner and raffle fundraising event, on Friday, November 20, 2009. This event raised more than $700 for their new reading and math tutoring program that will be launched in 2010.

The spaghetti dinner was the first annual quarterly event A&K will be having. There will be four annual events total, one being held every quarter of the year. The proceeds from these events will help reduce the cost of tutoring for reading and math; and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended and contributed.

The spaghetti dinner was held at A&K Family Learning Place and featured fresh fruit, salad, spaghetti, and desserts. It was made possible with support from all of the staff at A&K. Additional support for the event was provided by Astounding Events & Expressions, Cotton’s Gourmet Gifts & Creations and Elegant Tea Celebrations.
