Furnace blower motor quit

If you are handy with a soldering iron then you can install this part yourself. If you aren't handy, then you can give this part to your HVAC man to install for you. Lets face it. You are probably here because you have a blower motor failure or you are a serviceman that works on these units. I will let you in on a dirty little secret. Your high efficiency blower motor is DESIGNED TO FAIL after the warranty expires. Here's the way this will go down: After your warranty expires, your high efficiency blower motor will stop working without notice. Look at my pictures above. Does your blower motor say GE on it? TURN OFF ALL POWER GOING TO THE FURNACE BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO WORK ON IT! Before you order from me, please make sure of the following:1.You have a blower motor that says GE on it.2. You have a "black hubcap" attached to the motor.3. Remove the two screws from the top of the "black hubcap".4.The "hubcab" will now come apart from the motor.& Unplug the wiring harness between the motor and the "hubcap". Look in the center of the hubcap. There will probably be a burnt spot. There is a round black part that is the size of a quarter. It is probably brittle and is probably broken. That is your blown part. That is the part you need. It has number sg379 on the part. That is the part that GE or your furnace manufacturer will not sell you. That is the part that I am going to send to you. the replace part is an upgrade so it wont burn out as fast as the sg379 My high quality part meets or exceeds the OEM specifications for your original part. $99 or $1000?l will let you decide.
