Organisational change consultant, Angela Steward from Ashington and psychotherapist and personal development consultant, Dorothy George from Whitley Bay, have developed a unique method of helping organisations by pooling together their skills and offering a fresh approach to an age old problem.

The new business venture, “Future Choice Associates”, tackles the organisational challenges of a business and the issues that affect its staff on both a personal and work based level. The pair has evidence to show that their holistic approach results in improved performance, a clearer business focus and the ability for a business or organisation to be better placed to survive and prosper no matter what outside influences and factors are in place.

Angela, who has worked as a consultant to local authorities as well as private, public and voluntary sector organisations is using her strategic skills and award winning change management diagnostics and research techniques to make a real change in culture. She moves their clients from an environment where staff struggle to cope with the internal and external pressures imposed by the current economic situation to one where the whole team focuses on tangible results and outcomes. Complimenting this, Dorothy’s skills in personal development and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) ensure that their client’s workforce are informed and involved in any changes at work so that they can tackle problems more effectively individually and as a team together.

Originally from Dundee, Dorothy has previously gained national awards for her work in adult education, particularly within the field of parenting initiatives and she is looking forward to developing the partnership further with Angela.
