Based on the Code Excited Linear Prediction (CELP), these vocoders operate on 10ms frames with short algorithmic delays and deliver toll quality speech.The implementation of these vocoders passes all ITU-T test vectors. These voice codecs are multi-channel ready and optimized for performance and are available for most commercial processors. Applications for GAO Research's G.729 and G.729A/B vocoders include VoIP, voicemail, wireless communications, video conferencing, media gateway and digital satellite communication systems.
