Ga Ga CHIC Opens in Fig Garden Village

Fresno, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 3, 2010 -- November 3, 2010 – Fresno, California -- Ga Ga CHIC, a designer of children’s clothing, is set to celebrate the grand opening its first retail location in Fresno at Fig Garden Village on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 1 pm to 5 pm. The new store, owned, operated and managed by Abbie and Michael Mast, marks the first retail location for the couple, who market and sell their high-end children’s fashions to boutiques nationwide.

The Ga Ga CHIC store in Fig Garden Village carries an exciting mix of children’s clothing and accessories, headlined by their proprietary brand, Ga Ga CHIC. Abbie creates every piece of the line by hand, selecting unique fabrics from around the world and then carefully designing each item from body style to the final stitch. The clothing line is a playfully unique and chic line of girl’s clothing that ranges from infant to size seven. Ga Ga CHIC’s styling is traditional in spirit, yet fashion forward in small splashes to create outfits unlike anything else.

“My design philosophy is that little girls should be able to preserve their sense of being,” says Abbie. “Children can wear fashionable and functional attire at prices that moms love, all the while appearing age appropriate.

Ga Ga CHIC has received accolades and recognition from national children’s apparel trade magazines, appearing on the cover of Hudson’s Children’s Review in 2008 and also receiving the 2008 Best New Designer Award by Earnshaw’s Magazine.

In addition to carrying their signature line, the Ga Ga CHIC store will offer clothing selections from Egg Baby by Susan Lazar, Lil Squirtz, Mad Sky, Tea Collection and others. To accent each ensemble, Ga Ga CHIC will also carry fashion accessories from local designers, including Petite Fleur Designs & Co, a Clovis-based designer of elegant handcrafted boutique headbands, flower hair clips, baby/toddler hats, and baby layette sets. Laura Gendron owner of Petite Fleur Designs & Co will be working closely with Abbie to create custom hair accessories on site to coordinate with the outfits.
Ga Ga CHIC will also carry an assortment of hair bows by Sugar and Spice, diaper bags, shoes, boy’s clothing, furnishings and assorted gifts.

In addition to merchandise, Ga Ga CHIC offers a photography service for their customers through “Memories by Jenny” -- a local photographer who specializes in children, pregnancy and family photography. Children’s music classes will also be held in the store from Music Together.

Ga Ga CHIC’s store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
