FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 22, 2010 --
Dewitt, NY – March 22, 2010: As part of its continued effort to provide young professionals in gases and welding industry with pertinent information that will help them increase productivity and raise job performance, the March issue of GAWDA Edge features an article from noted author and speaker Marsha Egan. The article, entitled “How To: Reclaim Your Productivity,” is designed to give readers hints on successfully streamlining e-mail.
The article features ten distinct suggestions for reaching the goal. Each one is explained in detail within the article’s text. Below are the topics:
1. Be very clear
2. Make the subject line detailed
3. Use only one subject per e-mail
4. Place the main point in the first two lines
5. Copy only the people who need to read the message
6. Resist getting involved in threads that are not related to your worth
7. Send less e-mail
8. Have a detailed signature line
9. Make it a group standard to use the electronic calendar
10. Avoid controversial or argumentative e-mailing.
Egan claims that following her ten simple tips will help young gases and welding distributors maximize their efficiency. “While each one of these may save only a small amount of time, or may reduce your e-mail only by a few,” she says, “they have the potential to enormously help you control the number of e-mails that you receive.”
There’s only one way to find out all of the strategy behind the steps. Head over to www.gawdaedge.org and check out GAWDA Edge, the online resource for young professionals in the gases and welding industry.
