Gen 2 RFID Reader Rejects Interference in Challenging Dense Reader Environments

It is ideal for use in industrial applications where high read rates are required such as supply chain, portals, loading dock doorways, and warehousing. This Gen 2 RFID reader offers a wide range of configurations and enterprise management tools and features best-in-class air interface and multi-protocol agility.

The multi-protocol UHF RFID reader, model 236026, is compliant with EPC Class 1 Gen 2, ISO 18000-6B and ISO 18000-6C standards and features increased sensitivity while still rejecting interference in challenging dense reader environments. It is available in 4 and 8 antenna port configurations allowing for mono-static or bi-static set up. The bi-static configuration further enhances sensitivity in support of future Class 3 and "Battery Assisted Passive" (BAP) tag protocols. This interrogator offers single, multiple and dense operating modes and provides an intuitive installation wizard allowing the user to be able to begin reading tags within minutes. Its upgradeable firmware permits forward compatibility for future protocols. Status LEDs are available for easy monitoring of the device's status.

This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader belongs to GAO's family of 900 MHz RFID readers. The line includes a wide variety of RFID readers to meet customers' different needs.
