George Soros Purchased Domingo Zapata Art Work

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 26, 2010 -- In 2005, George Soros bought a painting from an up and coming artist Domingo Zapata.

The painting is called Blue Horse and was purchased by introduction of Agatha Herrero, private dealer of the artist at the time.


The painting is one of the acclaimed Polo Series that sold out while exhibiting during a private event organized by members of The Hampton's Polo Club in New York.

This one painting represents a blue horse figure. The media use was acrylic paint on canvas.

Mr. Soros's art investment has gone up in value too as a similar size and media painting in Domingo Zapata's latest show in Monte Carlo's at Societe General Private Banking where sold from 30 to 50,000 euros almost 15 times what George Soros paid only 5 years ago.
