Georges and Mireille Anglade Memorial and Cultural Center

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 13, 2010 -- The Anglade Cultural Center Foundation has kicked off a campaign
offering “engraved bricks” to individuals, groups, clubs, and businesses to

help build a new Memorial in honor and remembrance of Georges and Mireille Neptune-Anglade and the more than 250,000 who perished in the most recent devastating earthquake. The memorial will be erected on land donated by Mr. Robert “Bob” Anglade near Aquin in the South of Haiti, the cradle of both Anglade and Neptune families. Bricks sales began today and will continue until November 15, 2010 for Phase 1 of the project scheduled to be inaugurated on January 12, 2011.
Mr. Paul Philippe Anglade, Project Manager for this initiative stated that the memorial is only the first of a three phase master plan over three years that will benefit the children and surrounding community with buildings and facilities totaling in excess of 5,000 square feet. Two semi circular brick
wall constructed of engraved bricks will be erected adjacent to the Cultural Center and surround the new memorial made up of seven marble columns encircling two larger than life size bronze busts of Mireille and Georges.

Cost per brick is $50.00 for a 4”x8” size with two lines of text and $250.00 for the 8”x8” with five lines of text.
