Prolab Digital has recently acquired the Oce Arizona 550 XT UV Flatbed printer, and it has already exceeded our expectations as to its production capabilities and quality. The Oce Arizona can print directly onto rigid and flexible substrates up to 98.4” x 120” in size, and with a maximum thickness of 2”. When printing at its highest resolution of 1440 dpi, the Oce Arizona produces stunning graphics with saturated colors and razor-sharp text.
We have produced dozens of jobs on the Oce Arizona in recent weeks, and it has proven its versatility and exceptional production efficiency. One challenging project completed for the pre-Christmas holiday period was in-store decorations for Tom’s Shoes. We printed 100 holiday displays in four sizes complete with lights and battery packs. The Oce Arizona simplified production by eliminating the need to adhere prints to cardboard, as well as cutting out the costs involved in lamination.

Using the Oce Arizona to print point-of-sale displays is an efficient and cost-effective strategy for retail marketing. A recent job for T-mobile involved printing 200 point-of-sale counter cards for five U.S. markets. The cards were printed on to large sheets of chipboard material and then cut out using our Zund digital die-cutter. This job was highly appreciated by our client as it greatly reduces their cost and ensured them an exceptional quality of product.
The Oce Arizona can print directly on to substrates with irregular shapes, and even on to materials with uneven surfaces such as wood and bamboo. With the versatility and economy that the Oce Arizona offers, customer’s applications can now expand into areas that in the past were technically or economically prohibitive.
