Get Back: That 70's Music-New Musical Remembers the 1970's

Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Olde Towne Bellevue, will present Get Back: That 70’s Music, a bell bottomed visit to the 1970s which runs on week-ends March 12 - 28. This musical new show is filled with the greatest hits and fabulous fashions of the 70s, and even offers prizes for audience participation. Performances start at 8 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings and 2 pm on Sundays. Reservations are strongly recommended and may be made by calling the theatre at 291-1554 on Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $7.50 for students.



Get Back: That 70’s Music is a re-work of the very popular 1994 TAG award winning version, “I Love Music” created by Ric Swanson and Rob Baker. This updated version of the show features new arrangements by Ric Swanson, staged by Bridget Robbins and features a cast of outstanding singers and dancers who will take us back to the time of hot pants and leisure suits to help relive this memorable era. Bellevue City Council President, Carol Blood is in the cast as well as her husband, Joe Blood, mid-day personality on radio station CD 105 is featured as the production’s DJ.



All audience members are highly encouraged to wear or bring anything from the 70’s with them to the show. Everyone attending in 70’s fashion will receive a special Get Back prize – just for fun!

 Get Back: That 70’s Music features music of the Carpenters, the Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Diana Ross, Elton John, the Temptations, Three Dog Night, the Beatles, and many others---and will bring back memories of the music and history of an era we'll never forget.



Bette Swanson is producer for Get Back, Bridget Robbins is director and choreographer, and Ric Swanson is musical director. Terry Schmidt is stage manager; Jack Hogston is set designer; Cody Seebohm is sound designer; Audrey Fisher is Lighting Designer, and Leah Skorupa is in charge of costume design. 

Performers in this production are, Carol Blood, Joe Blood, Debbie Cline, Steve Couch, Phyllis Cremonini, Blare Fritz, Teri Gabel, Jan Gabrial, Gloria Jensen, Bob Kropp, Tori Loutzenhiser, Christi Malek, Donna Matlock, Morgan McCaw, Brock McCullough, Vince Riha, Steve Spurgeon, Terry Schmid, Ann Stergiou, Michael Taylor-Stewart, Sammi Swanson, Tammi Swanson, and Angela Wagner. The band features Bucky McCann on saxophone and vocals, Marcus Nunez on Trumpet, Carlos Figueroa on drums, Ric Swanson on keyboard and Al Reliable on bass.
