$750 — gas furnace ENERGY STAR 92.0% AFUE
or higher




To qualify for grants you need to complete two home energy assessments. Call Furnace Experts at 416-223-5000 and we'll be happy to help you book your energy assessment

The first energy assessment must take place before you renovate - if you want your energy-saving upgrades to be eligible for Grants + Rebates.

Complete the second energy assessment after all upgrades are finished, and within 18 months of your initial assessment or by March 31, 2011, whichever is first.

Ontario — $350 for first energy assessment. You will receive a $150 rebate on the cost of your first assessment from the Ontario government’s Home Energy Audit program, regardless of whether you make any energy-saving renovations.

First assessment — Your first ecoENERGY assessment takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete. Your certified ecoENERGY advisor will be happy to answer any questions pertaining to energy in your home. The advisor will need access to the entire house, including attic, crawl space, heating and cooling equipment, or any other hard to reach areas.

Grant report — You will receive an ecoENERGY report as part of your ecoENERGY assessment. This report contains recommendations on how to improve the energy efficiency of your home. This is a comprehensive report including Canadian government grant amounts for each recommended change.
