Have you ever thought of getting married in Tuscany ? Inside the beautiful Palazzo Vecchio for example, surrounded by red velvet, old furniture, mirrors and chandeliers ¦ Marrying in Florence could be fantastic oh yes! And perhaps take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the old city centre, or hire an original Fiat 500 and enjoy your favourite champagne while exploring the Florentine hills ¦ Have you ever imagined how special your wedding could be if celebrated in the cradle of the Renaissance?

And what about getting married somewhere else in Tuscany? Should you prefer a different atmosphere, your wedding can be organized in wonderful historical palaces, right in the heart of a medieval Tuscan town such as Cortona , Volterra or Montepulciano just to name a few ¦ Who has never dreamed of getting married in a region that is considered one of the most romantic destinations in the world? Bride and groom will have the opportunity to enjoy the sophisticated Tuscan style, Italian wedding planners will be happy to assist them in choosing the perfect spot, the perfect flowers, the perfect music.

Volterra : perched high on top of a hardly accessible hill in the heart of Tuscany, "Velathri" was one of the most important cities of the Etruscan Confederation; thanks to its relative geographical isolation we could say that it has never suffered the negative effects of urbanization, so it has remained almost unchanged since the Middle Ages. In Volterra you can get married in one of the most striking places in town that is Piazza dei Priori and precisely in its beautiful 13th century Palazzo dei Priori , famous for being the symbol and the seat of the free medieval commune ¦ Surrounded by blue and gold ceilings, ancient frescoes and immersed in such a particular atmosphere, you will feel like the main characters of a historical novel!

Cortona : it is the main cultural and artistic center of the Valdichiana after Arezzo, an ancient legend says that it was founded by Crano “ one of Noah's descendants “ 273 years after the Great Flood; from an historical point of view, it was originally an Umbrian city, which was conquered and enlarged by the Etruscans and became a city-state in the 13th century. Weddings in Cortona are celebrated in the marvellous 12th century town hall located on the famous square right in the middle of the historic centre; immediately after, you can venture out into the labyrinth of narrow streets and medieval buildings, look for you favourite natural window with a view over the hills and the Lake Trasimeno .

Montepulciano : when thinking about this town, the immediate image that comes to your mind is certainly the landscape; Montepulciano, rich in history and masterpieces, is entirely surrounded by the pristine nature of the Chiana Valley and the Val d'Orcia . Since the Fifties, it has been used as film location for many national and international successes; in May 2009, here were also shot the Italian scenes from the film New Moon. Your civil wedding in Montepulciano will be celebrated right in that Palazzo Comunale you can admire in the second chapter of the super lucky Twilight Saga , the same that resembles Palazzo Vecchio in Florence!
