WHAT: The final memories of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson will descend on the BLOCKBUSTER location at 2747 NE 193rd Street in Aventura, FL on Monday, Jan. 25 as the store hosts a midnight DVD release party for “This is It.” A compilation of interviews, rehearsals and backstage footage of Michael Jackson as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in London is the final performance of an iconic figure.

Activities at the event include:

The opportunity for Michael Jackson fans to be among the first to rent or purchase the movie on DVD or Blu-ray, while supplies last
The chance to win Blockbuster prizes
Dance contest
Special appearance by radio station WPOW Power-96

10 pm: Event begins
Midnight: “This is It” DVD and Blu-ray available for rent or purchase while supplies last.

OFFERING: “This is It” will be available for purchase or rent while supplies last at participating BLOCKBUSTER stores and online at www.blockbuster.com on the movie’s nationwide release date of Tuesday, Jan. 26.
