Chantilly, VA , 2011 – Global Surveillance System (GSS), one of the region’s largest equipment provider of digital high-resolution network-based video security systems, and Data Image Group, West Virginia’s leading system integrator of electronic security, today announced an extensive installation agreement with Berkeley County, West Virginia, in which the company will be introducing a highly advanced surveillance infrastructure across multiple municipal buildings and complexes. Adding more than 25 Hemispheric Q24 cameras (featuring 360° allround views and panorama functionality) and MonoDome D24 cameras (featuring integrated multiple-window motion detection and flexible mounting for indoor and outdoor) to its existing analog network, Berkeley County security and technology administrators have enabled best-in-class, high-resolution security through a costeffective, plug-and-play network upgrade. Global Surveillance System Inc, a Chantilly, VA based distributor was the reseller working with municipal officials on system design and vendor selection.
