It is never easy living in the shadow of a brother, especially a younger one. However, Justin Holiday, older brother to NBA All-Star Jrue Holiday, has been turning some heads and creating some buzz of his own. Undrafted out of the University of Washington in 2011, Holiday has spent the last two years silencing his critics, putting up solid numbers on both ends of the floor, and attracting the attention of NBA scouts along the way. With stints in Belgium, NBA training camps, and now in Boise with Portland's D-League affiliate, Holiday is poised and ready to share the NBA spotlight with brother Jrue for the first time. Averaging career best numbers of 13.2 points, nearly 5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest, Justin's long athletic frame and all out effort could provide a spark to any NBA roster looking for an upgrade at the guard position. With his agent talking to several NBA GM's interested in his services, it seems it won't be long before the NBA secures its second Holiday. Certainly if things run in the family, the team that gives him his shot will not be disappointed.
