Going Green – Peak Organic Beer Dinner at the Yardley Inn

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 21, 2010 -- On June 24, 2010, the Yardley Inn Restaurant & Bar invites guests to enjoy beer the natural way at the Peak Organic Beer Dinner, featuring five popular brews from the Maine-based brewery. A selection of Peak Organic Brewing Company’s ales accentuates the bill of fare offered in the five-course meal designed by Yardley Inn Executive Chef Eben Copple.

This enjoyable social event comes just in time for a special outing with Dad for Father’s Day. Each brew carries its own distinctive flavor, from robust espresso to lightly fruity pomegranate and acai and numerous flavors in between. The ales range from pale to dark, offering something for everyone. Each brew provided inspiration for the chef as he decided on the menu for the evening.

Chef Copple believes “beers are actually, in some ways, more suited to pairing with a long dinner than wines. There are a much greater breadth of flavors when you’re talking about beers as opposed to wines. Pairing beers with food actually makes my job a little easier.”

The five-course menu for the Yardley Inn’s Peak Organic Beer Dinner will feature an entirely organic selection of fresh, local ingredients, produce, meats, and cheeses from local organic farms. The five fine organic beers from Peak Organic Brewing Company matched to the menu will include Nut Brown, IPA, Amber Ale, Pomegranate-Acai Wheat, and Espresso Amber.

The Peak Organic Beer Dinner takes place on Thursday, June 24 at 7 p.m. at the Yardley Inn Restaurant & Bar. The cost to attend the beer dinner is $55 per person, all-inclusive. For reservations, please call 215.493.3800.
