Gold Coast Boot Camp holds Olympics to Raise Money for Kids with Cancer

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 30, 2009 -- Health Guru Boot Camp held their annual Boot Camp Olympics on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at Varsity College Sports Hall on the Gold Coast.

This event has been put together as a way to raise much needed funds for CanTeen and support their National Bandanna Day.

Teams competed in 3 fun relay events to detemine which camp would be this year's Boot Camp Winner. After tough competition from all teams, Varsity AM camp were victorious. We also had points for dressing up and our Burleigh Camp came dressed in yellow wigs and blue fairy wings. All teams looked great in their bandannas. Fun was had by all and the day was a total success.

We are still counting how much was raised but want to thank all the Health Guru Boot Campers who attended and all their friends who sponsored them. We are excited about being able to help CanTeen- they do a great job helping kids when they need it the most.

We are looking forward to next year's event being bigger and better and hopefully double what was raised this year.
