Golf gets off its arse!
Golf gets off its arse!
How can a golf club engage with its members in a recession?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 7, 2009 --
Offer members added value and help members businesses all at the same time. Churston Golf Club in Devon has one solution.
One of the members owns The Michelin starred Elephant Restaurant in Torquay.
How can the club help?
To dispel the myth that having a Michelin star means small portions and high prices
To raise awareness of the restaurant with club members, friends and create a talking point
To introduce Simon the chef as a reasonably normal fun loving human being ;)
To offer club members a discount
What has the club done?
Produced three promotional videos that change weekly all carrying a slightly different message
A competition to win a meal for two to the value of £100
10% discount for Churston Golf Club Members and friends
Promotion via a daily report, sent to members desktops and via the Tee Booking page on the web site (bottom right)
This is a very successful live campaign that has been running for four days.
The campaign content will change on Wednesday this week.
