Google de-claws Cougar
Google de-claws Cougar
Google has changed the classification of the Cougar term to “non-family safe” or adult.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 13, 2010 --
It seems being a Cougar isn’t easy these days. First the producer of the hit show “Cougar Town” wants to change the name of the show and now Google is changing the classification of the Cougar term to “non-family safe” or adult.
This means that Cougar dating websites where older women can meet younger men interested in dating them and vice-versa, will no longer be able to advertise on the Google network.
So, exactly what gives Google the right to decide who an older woman or a younger man can date? It has bought into the media myth that these relationships are just about sex. Lucia, a dating/relationship expert and the #1Cougar dating expert says, "I have been an advocate of Cougar dating since 2005. I can unequivocally tell you it’s not just about sex. There are many happy Cougar couples who would be absolutely miserable dating or being married to people their own age".
China censored Google and now Google is censoring Cougars. You would think it would have learned something from that, but, at least for now, it doesn’t appear that way.
Lucia is a dating/relationship expert specializing in Cougar relationships. She has numerous national and international TV and radio credits including Dr. Phil, The Tyra Banks Show, E! Entertainment, 60 Minutes Australia, The CBS Early Show and The KTLA News, who called her the “Queen of the Cougar Jungle”.
Lucia is available for interviews.
