What Happened On My Birthday?

I had just been on my computer checking my IP address for security, when Jane who lives on my street knocked on the front door.

She blurted out that she had just heard I was going to have to sell my house home property and sell my car.

She wanted to say how sorry she was, yeah! "gossips really annoy me" next thing they will be saying that there are warrants for my arrest.

Truth is she may be right I may have to sell my stuff, sell my car, sell my house and possibly sell my house fast!

When It All Started

It all started just as I was checking in to a hotel, for a weekend break for my birthday, the receptionist had said sign my guest book please at the same time as my cell rang.

A voice said "Hi my name is Earl" he sold auto insurance and used cars in my area, naturally I clicked the cell off button salesmen I shrugged.

My cell rang again "Hi Mom" my daughter, she said "Mom Dads business just went belly up, the SHOCK! ALMOST KNOCKED ME OFF MY FEET.

All at once the sell my house questions made sense! I said I'm coming home and clicked the cell phone off button.

"OH MY GOD" I said out loud my neighbor Totoro and his wife the lovely Jane will love this I thought.

I was with all our gang from school days, so I made my funny Valentine face (don't ask) and my excuses and went to the guy I paid to park my car, all I could think was let me get in the car.

All the way back home all I could think of was my favorite things, first that bullet for my Valentine (I told you don't ask)

Then my pictures of the ariel view of my house, my first school teacher, the biggest my favorite of all "all my children"

It must have been something from back in the bad days of our lives come back to haunt us I thought, my brain had been racing since that not "my happy hour moment" back at the hotel when my cell rang.

Places passed by in a blur, my mind screamed "OH MY HEAD" and on my birthday of all days, for some unknown reason my year book popped in to my head, my IP, MY OUR GANG PLAYLIST? my sisters hot friend.

Then it skipped back to the pictures on the wall, next i was thinking what is my sign in on my ebay account, then my face book log in when I go to my PC.

Two hours in to my road trip, who is my congressman? I found myself saying out loud, I must be going MAD!

As I reached the outskirts of town a sort of still calm had taken over, found myself thinking logically again, how would we earn a living, who moved my cheese sandwich, WHAT! keep those stupid thoughts suppressed I remember thinking.

Now my line of thought now was, what jobs available in my area, times are but still surely I will find some job openings in my area, that will be just my size.

The gas tank was bordering on empty so I headed over to a local gas garage sales in my area, I thought the way lady luck is running at this moment I don't rate my chances of making it home without filling up.

Home At Last

As I closed the car door on the drive I looked at the side wall, where when the kid's were little they made me write my name in graffiti "sweet sweet memories"
