Just within the last few minutes (9:28pm EST, Nov. 3rd 2009) Google has done a test of sorts and placed advertising on their front landing page of their search engine. What signals does this send to the global market at large? Is Google in need of a cash infusion like the rest of us?

There are many things to consider when considering what Google's actual plan really is. First Google has always prided itself for the fastest, most accurate search results possible. Has "Big Brother" waived this stead fast value and sold out to make a buck? Or maybe they are trying to combat the fear of a Bing (MSN), Yahoo merger of search results?

This is obviously a test run for the Big G, as it is not always showing up, but we have actual proof of this happening. At danteverick.com there have been real time photo's that have been taken as it unfolded! These screen shots show what the future of Google might actually be for the rest of us.

Looks like more of the same to me. Big company sells out and takes a buck, all while the end user, Us, have ads stuffed down our throats.

It just goes to show that no one is safe in this market, even Big Bother himself. It all comes down to the all mighty dollar, for as long as we can even say mighty and dollar in the same sentence.
