Since it was founded way back in 1901 by Henry Williamson the lingerie brand Gossard has gone from specialising in corsets to light weight girdles and perma lift bras in the late 1950’s. In 1960 Gossard started to focuses more on producing fashionable bras, including the now world-famous Wonderbra brand. Soon after in the 1970’s Gossard introduced a new natural looking 'Sheer Glossies' range which gave a 'natural' look under clothes. Soon to follow was Gossard’s Superboost range which has become popular the world over and with cup sizes up to a DD+ (now g cup) Gossard bras are now available for larger sizes.
