Grand Opening of The Natural Path Integrative Medical Center

The health conscious residents of Sacramento are welcomed to attend the grand opening of its newest Integrative Medical Center, The Natural Path, on May 20th from 4 to 8 pm at 6622 Mercy Court in Fair Oaks, 95628. The Natural Path has a full gym and offers medically supervised weight loss, and an IV suite where patients can get chelation, or vitamin IVs specifically tailored to each patient’s needs. The hydrotherapy room offers detoxification therapies including foot detox baths, wet sheet wraps and dry and infrared saunas. There is also a colon hydrotherapist on site to top off your detoxification experience. The Natural Path has a beautiful library where you may sit before or after your treatments and enjoy a cup of tea and a good read. Two Naturopathic doctors, Dr. Ryan Weitman, and Dr. Heather Wdowin, founded The Natural Path, and offer many different therapies to complement conventional medicine. Naturopathic Doctors are the experts in integrative methods, they are board certified in Naturopathic Medicine, and are licensed by the State of California to practice naturopathic medicine. NDs use clinical examinations, and order blood labs and imaging studies in order to scientifically diagnose and monitor disease. They treat disease using a variety of methods as they are masters of many different healing modalities including herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, physical medicine, detoxification and hydrotherapy. Naturopaths are experts in preventative disease, helping people get and stay healthy without the use of drugs and surgery; they look at the whole person, and are experienced at guiding patients on their path to healing using many different techniques.
Naturopathy was recognized and licensed by the state of California in 2005, and there are currently sixteen states which license Naturopaths. Dr. Weitman returned home to Sacramento, to provide the best that Complementary and Alternative Medicine has to offer. Dr. Weitman was born in Carmichael, raised in Folsom, and attended Jesuit high school. After eight years in Seattle, where he attended medical school at Bastyr University, and built a thriving practice, he decided to come home to Sacramento and build the office of his dreams.
