Grand River To Provide Strategic e-Commerce Solutions for Doheny Enterprises, Inc.

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 9, 2010 -- Ann Arbor, Mich., February 9, 2010 — Ann Arbor-based e-commerce developer Grand River today announced it has been selected to redesign and develop e-Commerce sites for pool supply company Doheny Enterprises, Inc. Grand River Partner and Co-Founder Scott Robertson made the announcement.

Doheny contracted Grand River based on their strong industry expertise and vision in developing e-commerce solutions for multi-channel retailers. Grand River plans a complete redesign and re-platform of their two sites -- Water Warehouse.com and Poolsupplysuperstores.com. Along with a visual and information redesign, the sites will integrate Doheny’s eight distribution centers throughout the U.S. to allow same-day shipping and free freight on all orders.

“Doheny Enterprises, Inc. felt it was important to engage an experiential web company to support, enhance their e-commerce sites and customer’s experiences,” said Robertson. “After we complete the build-out and integrations using open source technology, their customers will have a unique research and shopping experience, resulting in improved site functionality, conversion and increased revenues.”

Grand River will also support Doheny’s natural search optimization, paid search, affiliate marketing programs and customer e-mail campaigns.

For both new sites, Grand River will leverage e-commerce platform vendor Magento Commerce, utilizing their Enterprise Edition to create new and robust open-source e-Commerce platforms for the company.

The site is expected to launch in Spring 2010. Budget for the contract was not disclosed.
