FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The UK has now gone solar. The introduction of new feed in tariff on the 1st April, means that solar energy is now a very good investment for most households. The scheme works by paying the homeowner a fixed income level for 25 years for having solar panels on your roof. The rate is set at 0.41p per unit. So if your home was to have installed a 2.5kW solar pv system , you would be looking at an income level of around £1,200 per year, which is fixed for 25 years.
Energy prices in the UK are predicted to increase at a rate of 10% per year over the next 10 years. For many people energy bills are becoming an important consideration as they look to reduce their expenditure. Solar panels could be the answer as they allow you to use daylight to generate both electricity and hot water. The energy if not used by the household can be sold back to the national grid at a rate a lot higher than what you have to pay the energy companies.
Next year the government will launch the feed in tariff for solar thermal. In addition you can also receive grants for the installation of your solar panels. Why not see if your home is suitable for solar by vising our website.
