GrassRoots Steering Foundation, Inc. Loses Beloved Colleague and Volunteer

The GrassRoots Steering Foundation, Inc. regrets to announce the passing of our beloved friend and colleague Ms. Brenda Clayton. Brenda departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2009 from complications due to cancer. Brenda held the position of Information/Resource Manager and was a founding officer of The GrassRoots Steering Foundation, Inc. She was a member of Blacks in Government, and the local Harford Chapter of The NAACP. Brenda was an employee of the Federal Government for 29 years. We will truly miss Brenda, her words of encouragement, her friendship, support and companionship. For ten years, she faithfully served our organization as a trusted volunteer and officer. Words cannot express our sorrow. She leaves to mourn a son, a mother, one sister, one brother, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. We ask that our friends and supporters remember her family and this organization in your prayers during this time. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
