United States of America -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Feb 16, 2011 -- A green card is needed when an immigrant needs to enter and exit the country. A green card is a permanent resident permit that allows you to live, work and study in the United States. So what happens if you are a new immigrant, but you are still waiting for your green card to arrive? How do you travel then? The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) have come up with a solution. This week, they released a new Identification card that serves as a work permit as well as a document that allows immigrants to enter and exit the United States. The ID card that was released last week, not only contains a photograph, but also a fingerprint. It is for the sole purpose of providing a work permit and allowing travel for anyone waiting for their permanent resident permit or a decision on their case for receiving it.
Immigration lawyers are concerned that it will lead to problems when holders of this card try to return to the US. The bureaucracy and paperwork involved, all still needs to be in order, and if it isn’t people may be stranded at the border and refused entry back into the US.
USAGC is an established Green Card service that has been making peoples dream come true for a decade now.
