Green Field Paper Company 2011 California Waste Reduction Award Program Winner (WRAP)

California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) announces that Green Field Paper Company is a 2011 WRAP Award Winner.

The Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) is administered by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). WRAP provides an opportunity for California businesses and nonprofit organizations to gain public recognition for their outstanding waste reduction efforts and lets the community know the business takes waste reduction seriously. WRAP evaluates the waste reduction, procurement, and education activities in the internal business practices of the applicant, not in the services or products it may provide.

In addition to the water and waste reduction practices followed by Green Field Paper Company, they also produce products that are environmentally friendly. Hemp Heritage is produced using 25% hemp fiber and 75% post consumer. Grow A Note products are made with 100% postconsumer with the paper embedded with wildflower seed. The seed paper will biodegrade naturally and sprout flowers. The 100% Junk Mail paper is made from 100% postconsumer and infused with cuttings and scraps from "3rd class" mail. New this year is a paper embedded with Chia seeds. All of Green Field Paper Company products are made in the USA.
