The site has daily updates on all things ecological – from the developments on issues like climate change and pollution, to the newest technology geared towards the environmentally conscious consumer.

Greenfudge.org invites its viewers to participate in discussions about the world, as these issues affect us all. Greenfudge.org’s founder credits her own lifelong pursuit of a decent way of life as the inspiration for creating the site. “My roots have always been with karma-based issues, protection, nurturing, trying to find the best balance between the world and me” she said. A philosophy graduate who eventually moved into technology and founded an IT firm. “After more than 10 years of hard business I felt like I had the necessary experience to shift all that practical experience gained doing ‘useless’ things into something ‘good’.”
The site has the most recent news from all over the world, such as developments and trends in the green industry, news from eco-warriors fighting to save the planet, scientific breakthroughs, as well as informative articles and opinion pieces on key ecological issues, presented in a fun and witty way. There’s a section where upcoming environment related events are posted and information sources for people interested in learning more about the debates and discussions on the environment.

Greenfudge.org is a personal project and is funded privately. The six key members of the group contribute their own expertise and insights into the project, spreading the word throughout the worldwide web. The team has a simple approach to their tasks: “No nonsense.” That means no pretenses, no excuses, just the plain truth. The projects they tackle include online social experiments, which seek to create a buzz and facilitate the conversation around issues that affect the environment and the world at large.

Of course, with such a big project, challenges are always present. With the media, advertising and marketing bombarding our senses 24/7, it’s difficult to make people pay attention. Greenfudge.org continues to strive to be heard and make people aware of all the environmental issues that face us today and affects our future. The site’s vision is clear - provide an unbiased platform for anybody, regardless of age, gender or color to speak their mind on their causes.

The site also supports other causes with like-minded interests, such as Greenpeace, Doctors without Borders, WWF fund, and a private biological research group. Greenfudge.org's founder encourages anyone wishing to pursue such causes to go for it. “If the heart is in the right place they should start whatever it is they think is needed.” She adds, “The world needs as much help as it can get.”
