IRVING, TX – GroupOne Services, Inc., a provider of healthcare employee background screening, has entered into a partnership with Tracker Corp to offer Tracker I-9™ software to its 600 hospital clients for Form I-9 processing and E-Verify compliance.
Tracker I-9™ software will enable healthcare Human Resources professionals to easily process employees’ I-9 forms for employment eligibility verification. Tracker I-9 features include detection of data entry errors or incomplete forms, one-click E-Verify submission, monitoring of E-Verify system for responses to pending cases, automatic email notification and customized reporting and auditing tools. Tracker I-9 even includes a flexible application programming interface (API) that enables the software to synchronize with the hospitals’ existing payroll or HR applications, allowing relevant information to be securely transferred directly into electronic forms.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) continues to increase enforcement of Form I-9 compliance. On Nov. 19, 2009, Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the issuance of Notices of Inspection (NOIs) to 1,000 employers across the country, alerting business owners that ICE will audit their hiring records to determine compliance with employment eligibility verification laws.
