Guida’s Milk, one of the few remaining family-owned independent dairies in the state of CT, is donating approximately 4,000 gallons of Guida’s Spring Water to the Connecticut Food Bank in order to assist local CT residents affected most by the devastating results of Hurricane Irene.
Guida’s Milk will deliver a full trailer of spring water to the Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven tomorrow, September 1st, 2011 to assist CT residents who have been without power and water. “We are trying to do our part as a local company to help our local community.” says Michael Guida, the President of Guida’s Milk. Guida’s Milk encourages other local companies to do what they can to help as well.
This is not the first natural disaster where Guida’s Supercow has come to the rescue. Guida’s Milk recently donated a portion of their milk sales profits to the victims of the recent tornado, which hit the northern CT and MA border. The local 125yr old family owned company has earned an excellent reputation in both their local community and throughout the state of CT by being a strong supporter of the local community and charitable events in their 125yrs of business. Guida’s mascot, Supercow, truly is a superhero!
