Gulf Coast Naturals is Seeking Votes and Community Support for $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant

GULFPORT, MS/NOVEMBER 10, 2011

Gulf Coast Naturals, a Gulfport-based organization, has applied for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project to hold an 8-week youth empowerment workshop for young girls between the ages of 7-18 and has qualified for the Voting Round on their website. Funding for this project is a necessity to ensure that the workshop takes place. We are asking for the community’s support on this initiative via their votes.

The Pepsi Refresh Project awards monthly grants to applicants hoping to impact their respective communities to make the world a better place. The Extraordinary Girl project is the catalyst for Extraordinary Girl, Inc., a non-profit organization, which will be birthed from the success of the workshop. The mission with “Extraordinary Girl” is to help prepare ordinary, young girls to become eXTRAordinary leaders of the future.
