Editors Note: To love Oh! what is it to love? All around me I saw the great lake the cedar trees lined a distant shore as there was no boundary for the water as they stood tall in the lake all around them. Yonder Blue and Heron’s of many colors also fished not in the branches of the cedar trees but from other fallen and over hanging trees.

It was early; God had just “broke the day.” The mist a mystic fog hung low all across the water. There is something very still about this scene. There is no noise found among the crickets and the birds that cry out. The ducks flew in rows of three here and three there. They also scampered across the lake and found a resting place on the shore.

One day a Blue Heron also fished on my side. He acknowledged my presence as I blended into nature. Never taking anything away as we shared this time with the elements and its creatures I was able to see God. This is only a mere fragment in verse or prose of the Great Creation. Therefore we come to worship the Master of the land and the sea. The maker of all things including poor rich me.


Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. My beloved brethren as we look deep into Revelation and the inspired messages of John what else do we see? We bear witness that many came to embrace Christ and the Church during the first Century of the Christian era. These people were Jews and Gentiles. Many also came from the various or 12 tribes of Israel. However, we remind you that this Book is a Book of symbols and figurative speech. There is no set number that came the 144,000 is only a figure of speech.

So as this great drama continues to unfold we see the impact of the Great Reform Movement by Martin Luther and the return of the Bible to the people. However, is the “Dark Ages” still upon us as many people still refuse to read and study the Bible? If this is so then in many instances the people for the most part are still a part of a Dark World of sin that looks more to man and material things than to God.

The people of God and Christ today are allowed to make their own interpretation (we do not mean all the brethren have a personal interpretation of scripture that denies “one accord”) of the Bible. There is no ruling authority that is supposed to make that decision for you. But in many instances we still see the “Dark Ages” as many Church denominations, non-denominations, independents, cults etc. have their own Church Covenants and established doctrines. The people who join up with the various churches are instructed to follow the expressed Church doctrine or Covenant. Meanwhile we have found that many of these various churches have Covenants and expressed doctrines that defy the Truth of the Bible in many instances.

Thus we still see many things Dark in Christianity as the true Church still resides not in hiding but in neglect. We also note once more than once that when we say interpretation of the Bible we are not making reference to the erroneous notion taught by many wayward churches that it is one’s personal assessment. For example we all have an interpretation of scripture but it must coincide with God and Truth and not man-made laws. To test our lining up with God there is always the essence of “one accord.” The Saints are supposed to eventually reach the same basic conclusion. For example the Spiritual Gifts of the miraculous ended with the passing of the Apostles. God does not sanction personal interpretations among the believers to take on the attitude or belief system that the Spiritual Gifts of the miraculous still exist among certain people.

Furthermore there are some that believe that one can receive such gifts especially the gift of speaking in tongues by being baptized as noted at Acts 2. But these same people are unaware that the greatest gift noted to the Apostles regarding speaking in tongues was to be able to speak in the various foreign languages. So as we pursue our present discussion we still see a Dark Cloud over many places that mock the Word of God.

Revelation 14: 7 “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
How can the people know what to worship when there has been an all out attack on the Truth of the Bible? Well does this mean anything to those that are not professed believers? Well can you be a believer (someone that has accepted Jesus Christ) and with premeditation defile the Holy Bible?

Here we see an angel announcing that the glorious work the Gospels has been given back to the people. They are also advised to rejoice over this fact. Beloved brethren are you grateful that you have access to a Bible? Do you rejoice in the fact that Almighty God has granted us all religious freedoms? Does this mean to worship other gods? No this means we are all created with the wherewithal to see God. When we see God we can then see Jesus because the way to the Father comes through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

John continues to remind us here that the people had worshiped as did the heathens various superstitious objects. Thus they are reminded to worship the one and only God who made the Heavens and the earth and the great sea and all things therein. Has God made things for man to destroy? Can man really destroy anything or can he just alter the state of any existing matter?

For a scriptural reference on the A part of this verse turn with us back to Revelation 11 where the 7th trumpet is sounded.

Revelation 11: 18 “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judge, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”
There were many nations angry regarding their desire to continue the abuse of the people. Is there still a profit gained by the deception of the people? Will those responsible for abusing the Word of God see His wrath?

Meanwhile many have cried out for (“the time of the dead” noted at Revelation 6: 9) vengeance or judgment and were told that their time would come. Is the judgment regarding those that move in an apostate fashion regarding the Church still developing? If the word that has been placed back into the hands of the people is stolen for lack of faith and responsibility to read the Word what good is a lost found Bible? Will there be a campaign of destruction regarding those that attempt to destroy the earth? Is the irresponsible search for Oil a means of destruction of the earth the sea and all living creatures?

Look now back to the Old Testament for another cross reference to our primary verse taken from Revelation 14: 7. This verse taken from Nehemiah 9 relates to the B part of our verse. There were great deliverances of God regarding the original people.

Nehemiah 9: 6 “Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”

Again we see that the Israelites have joined in with the heathens and pagans and had worshipped things ungodly. Here we see that they confessed this sin. Meanwhile they go further to note that this confession is not only logical but sincere. They further note that the things that they had been worshipping were created by the one and only true God. They now profess to serve this God.

Again once more than once we cry out regarding the idol worshippers of today. What do they worship?
