GWP packages up the ideal solution

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 30, 2011 -- When triathalete Dan Brunton was selected to represent Great Britain at the ITU Triathlon World Championships, his first concern was how to get his top of the range time trial bike to the race, which was being held in Beijing, China.

Unlike standard road race bikes, time trial bikes are more complicated in their design and can not simply be broken down and transported in a standard bike case.

What was needed was a specially designed protective case that would protect the bike and also withstand traveling across the globe. Brunton approached packaging specialists GWP Group to see if they could help - and the answer was a resounding yes!
In addition to specialist corrugated, coatings and conductive arms, GWP also has a specialist protective packaging arm, which can design and manufacture flight cases and aluminum cases for specific objects, as well as military cases, industrial cases, explorer cases, storm cases, plastic cases and tote bins.

Brunton worked with GWP Protective to design and create a bespoke bike box suitable for a time trial bike. GWP delivered a well-engineered, sturdy case that was strong enough to protect the bike, yet light enough to fit the flying criteria of the leading airlines.
