On top of the many job titles Dillon has had throughout his career in the bike industry he has also raced competitively for about 17 years now while focusing mostly on road for the last eight years. Since the magazine's arrival in 2003, it has set photographic and content standards, using new formats, writing styles, and even approach to covering one of the world's most popular sports.

Dillon replaces Tim Schamber as ROAD Magazine's previous Creative Director. Over the past few years, Schamber's driving force has taken the publication into a leading position in a very competitive market. Everyone at H3 was saddened by Tim's departure, yet glad to have a familiar face come in and be able to fill the void he leaves behind.
