Haiti: Two released thirteen imprisoned
aiti news press: Nicole Marie Joseph Auguste and Schiller were released Friday following a decision by the prosecutor of the court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince in their favor.

While the thirteen others arrested at the same time, took the opposite path to the National Penitentiary and Prison Petion-Ville.
Nicole Marie Auguste asthma and Schiller Joseph of swelling in the forearm were released Friday following a decision of the prosecution of the Civil Court of Port-au-Prince in their favor. Both library staff of the Faculty of Humanities have regained their liberty because of their deteriorating health. Professor of French language Eliphète John Ford and the twelve students arrested outside the demonstration Wednesday, November 18 are being taken to the National Penitentiary and Prison Petion-Ville. Thus, the prosecutor has decided to transfer the case to the examining magistrate.
Lawyers who defend the right of students say they do not intend to let go because the statutory procedure was not followed by the prosecution. According to Mr. Andrew Michael, the procedure made the following demands: "First, the police proceeded to arrest the individual. Secondly, a justice collect preliminary information. Thirdly, the prosecution intends the individual, "explains Mr. André Michel deploring the decision by the prosecutor to refer the matter to the firm statement without following the procedure.
