Half a Million Passenger of Vietnam Airlines!

At the moment Vietnam Airlines operates flights from Domodedovo to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh twice a week providing a comfortable service on B 777 covering popular tourist destination.

Years of cooperation with Moscow Domodedovo Airport have been marked with active growth and development of the airline. In 2009 Vietnam Airlines transported 97 854 passengers. In 2004 when the airline celebrated a one year of cooperation with Domodedovo this figure was 35 036. An average annual growth rate makes 22%. Number of flights operated to Vietnam from Domodedovo airport increased as well: flights to Ho Chi Minh are now performed twice a week instead of a previous one weekly flight.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport seeks further opportunities to foster prosperity of its partner airlines. The airport provides the largest route network to Russia and the CIS States, which guarantees the best opportunities for establishment of domestic transfer services. Domodedovo is the only airport in Russia applying procedure of simultaneous parallel departures allowing for future increase of aerodrome capacity up to 90 movements.

Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways and other world famous airlines are now partners of Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Cooperation with these well known airlines proves a high standard of service quality provided by the airport.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow makes 46%. At the moment 78 partner airlines (34 foreign, 28 Russian and 16 from the CIS) connecting over 220 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 89 exclusive destinations. In 2009 18,7 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services.
