Half-WAY home for the graduates of State-run orphanages

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 5, 2010 -- Volunteers of the Orphans Future Foundation are planning to renovate an existing or build a new facility which provides temporary shelter for 10-15 homeless orphan graduates each year. The building will have a Resource Center which will include a library, a computer with access to the internet and printer, and other services for all orphans of the Ternopil region of Ukraine.

Orphan you will also have access to educational, psychological, job training and material assistance during the period of transition from the orphanage to independent adult living.

The beneficiaries are graduates from state-run orphanages of the Ternopil region, who have no homes go after leaving the schools.

To start this project, Orphans Future Foundation needs “Letter of Support” from prospective donors who wish to participate and help orphans in this long term project. The local Ternopil government will give a land or a building for the project only when Orphans Future Foundation proves the ability to fund the project.

The Letter of Support should include next information: I or (my organization) plan to donate in the future to this project $... the letter should be designated to orphans Future Foundation and to the Head of the Ternopil State Administration….

The Ternopil Government will only donate the land/building if $150,000 is raised in 2010 -2011 by Orphans Future or the letters of support are provided as guarantees.

The $150,000 will provide the reconstruction of the building for the project realization. After that Orphans Future in cooperation with local businesses will support this project annually to run the facilities, which may cost approximately $12-14,000 per year.

The building will allow the orphans without “registration” to be registered with this address which gives them to build their life with Ukraine: get a bank account, get an official job according to their qualifications, to vote, and etc.

Currently Orphans Future Foundation has about 100 friends and supporters of our children. If every person and organization that cares about the future of Ukrainian orphans could donate to this Long Term Project, it would give radiant hope and inspiration to orphan youth who are facing the prospect of living on their own in a harsh economic climate.
